Phnom Penh: On July 14, 2020, AMK and Cambodian Partnerships for Sustainable Agriculture (CPSA) collaborated to organize a workshop on “Opportunities to access capital and financial packages for business value chain” participated by AMK’s and CPSA’s managements and many other SME owners especially food processing, agricultural suppliers and buyers.
The workshop aimed: 1. Provide opportunities to all business owners to understand possibilities in which AMK was able to support their businesses through the provision of capital and financial packages for business value chain, 2. Present the benefits of Tonlesap App and give a chance to exhibit their products in the App for free of charge for business owners, 3. Provide opportunities to build good relationship between AMK, business owners, and other stakeholders.
CPSA’s country director, Mr. Chan Sereyratha, said that “Regardless any circumstances where businesses face challenges or growth, we have seen that the issue of cash flow and capital are the key significant for all enterpreneurs which need constant solutions. Therefore, it is vital if there are financial institutions to provide financial supports especially capital and financial packages to support them with appropriate and easy manners.” He added that “Provision of capital and financial packages from AMK in this circumstance really contributes to business growth in the country especially in agriculture and food processing industries.”
Mr. Huot Sokha, Chief Commercial Business Officer of AMK stated that “Capital and financial packages for business value chain was created due to we have seen opportunities from the root cause of issues in business value chain such as a lack of revolving funds to purchase materials or goods from suppliers, challenges in sales volume increase, market expansion, collateral issue, as well as financial service needs to help them with business value chain like savings, payment, payroll and so on which can benefit to the company.
